Wynton played for Tony Bennett in Washington

Yesterday, December 4, Tina Turner and Tony Bennett, two legends of American music, earned accolades from a broad array of pop and jazz stars during the Kennedy Center Honors.

Tony Bennett was saluted by Wynton with performances of standards: “I Left My Heart in San Francisco”.

  1. I too would love to get a copy of the version of “I Left my Heart in San Francisco” played at the Kennedy Center honors for Tony Bennett. The concept of the arrangement was so hip, so pure…I may have to record it myself! Keep up the good work.

  5. The pianist is Dan Nimmer. He is currently part of Wynton’s quartet/quintet. Excellent pianist at such a young age. Wynton’s rendition of “I Left My Heart in San Francisco” was simply beautiful. It is always a pleasure to see him perform
