Chick Corea to Perform with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis.
On Janury 20-22, 2010, multi-award winning jazz great Chick Corea performs for the first time with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis. Corea’s music and bands have covered all the stylistic grounds from bebop, soul jazz and fusion, to Latin jazz and the avant-garde. For this special concert event, members of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra and Marsalis will arrange Corea’s own compositions, which may include “The Matrix,” “Crystal Silence,” and “You’re Everything,” for big band.
