Last night, the Wynton Marsalis Quintet performed in Marciac. They played songs from a new poem written by Wynton, and at the end of the concert people tributed a standing ovation to the band and to Jared Grimes. The band also played three encores: Moscow Blues, The Magic Hour and Sadness (by Ornette Coleman).

Set list for Summer tour 2007
Wynton is in Turkey tonight, for a two days performance at Instanbul Jazz Festival. Then he will go to Rotterdam for the North Sea Jazz Festival. On the 2007 European Tour, Wynton and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra are performing music from one of two repertoires: The Music of Ornette Coleman and Full Steam Ahead.
