Wynton and Itzhak Perlman join lineup for Louisiana Philharmonic Benefit
Violinist Itzhak Perlman and Wynton will perform at the New York Philharmonic and Louisiana Philharmonic’s joint concert on October 28, 2005. Conductors James Conlon, music director designate of the Los Angeles Opera, and Ted Sperling, music director of Broadway’s The Light in the Piazza, have also joined the lineup for the concert, which will benefit the New Orleans-based LPO as it recovers from the affects of Hurricane Katrina.
