    On September 23, 2007, PBS will air “THE WAR”, a new seven-part documentary series directed and produced by Ken Burns and Lynn Novick. The new film explores the history and horror of the Second World War from an American perspective by following the fortunes of so-called ordinary men and women who become caught up in one of the greatest cataclysms in human history.

    On Jazz at Lincoln Center Radio, the currently featured show is: Willie Nelson Sings the Blues with Wynton Marsalis.
    The soulful concert, performed by the legendary singer-songwriter-musician Willie Nelson and the Wynton Marsalis Quintet in January 2007, featured songs by well-known American composers such as Hoagy Carmichael, Duke Ellington, and Merle Travis, as well as songs written by less prominent blues men Harry Warren, Spencer Williams, and Jimmy Reed.

  • Set lists for Wynton with JLCO summer tour 2007

    Following you’ll find the set lists for the Congo Square Tour (June 2007) and the Full Steam Ahead Tour (July 2007).
    The Full Steam Ahead Set List only applies to the Full Steam Ahead Tour, which is only being performed in the North Sea Jazz Festival (Rotterdam), Istanbul, and the U.K. The rest of the venues will have a different program, “The Music of Ornette Coleman”, (set list to be published).
