Wynton Marsalis Quintet with Sweet Honey in The Rock and tap dancer Jared Grimes
In 2007, Maya Angelou teamed up with Wynton Marsalis to write music for her poem: “Music, Deep Rivers in My Soul,” which actually traces the lineage of African-American music.
