Wynton to record narration for Black Magic

Black Magic is a two-part, four-hour TV film by director Dan Klores, that highlights the lives of basketball players and coaches who attended historically black colleges and universities before and during the Civil Rights movement. Black Magic will air in two, 2 hour segments, and Wynton will be narrating one of these segments (other narrators include Samuel L. Jackson and Chris Paul )
The narration will consist mostly of one or two sentences at a time to help transition the piece or give further information on the subject being discussed. The movie will air March 16-17, 2008, after the men’s and women’s NCAA basketball tournament selections.

The movie, co-produced by Dan Klores and basketball great Earl Monroe, includes interviews with Willis Reed, Avery Johnson, Ben Wallace, Charles Oakley, John Chaney, Bobby Cremins and historian Dr. Henry Louis Gates, among others.
