  1. This is great news. I would love to see the Carnival album tunes offered up. I live just outside of New Orleans. In fact as a youngster Wynton’s dad Ellis taught me jazz, both through summer programs at Loyola University in New Orleans and through special programs at my high school. Hurricane Katrina took our home and along with it my sheet music collection of over 3,000 pieces. One of my most prized pieces was the entire book of Wynton’s Carnival album, complete with scores and trumpet part pullout. I absolutely loved that book. I have searched for two and half years in stores and online trying to replace it. I once thought I found it through Amazon’s used section, but two months after ordering it they sent me an email saying it was no longer available. Can anyone tell me where to find this? An email to me would be very much appreciated.

  5. Dear Linda,
As of right now, Wynton’s “classical” compositions (Octoroon, Fiddler’s Tale and All Rise) are only available as a rental.
This means the person/organization pays WME for each performance of the music and when they are done, they are required to mail the music back to us.

Let us know if you are interested.

  9. Wow!
The availability of Wynton’s music in PDF is a welcomed opportunitity to explore, learn and grow as a intro level trumpet player.

I sure would hope that we are allowed to download single copies of select tunes,i.e; Joe Cool’s Blues” and On Peanuts Playground!

Anyway keep up the good work, the website has certainly advanced to the next level.

    Much Success!

  12. Happy Belated Birthday!

This a great chance for all to be introduced or experience fine composition. Especially songs that have formed a marvelous musician/educator’s repitoire.

    Until.

  13. I will definitely be interested in some of the interesting progressions on the last album.

Older! wiser? even more focused and determined to accomplish all the best visions dreamed to make this world better off WITH its soulful music that Jazz is, and hopefully having a little piece of heaven for himself on this life renewing day.
    Happy B, WindTon ;-)
