In 2014, Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra music director Wynton Marsalis and drummer Ali Jackson presented the compositions of a pair of Philadelphia-born, post-Boomer virtuosos — bassist Christian McBride and guitarist Kurt Rosenwinkel — who joined the JLCO for the occasion. On this track, McBride plays bass alongside an arrangement of his composition, “Youthful Bliss”
