Crane School of Music at SUNY – Potsdam, NY
The State University of New York, through SUNY Potsdam’s Crane School of Music, awarded Wynton Marsalis with an Honorary Doctor of Music degree. SUNY Chancellor Nancy L. Zimpher conferred the honorary doctorate alongside SUNY Board of Trustees Chairman Carl T. Hayden.
After the presentation Wynton sat in with SUNY Potsdam student musicians.
