Happy “Birthday” to the one-and-only Louis Armstrong! Although research indicates that the trailblazer was most likely born on August 4th, 1901, Louis—lovingly hailed as a “firecracker baby” by his mother—celebrated his birthday on July 4th. A tradition we continue today.
