The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra plays the riffs, blues and boogie-woogie of the immortal Count Basie. Guest pianist Cyrus Chestnut joins the band to celebrate this leading figure of the swing era and big band style and emerging vocal star Gregory Porter demonstrates Basie’s great legacy of the blues.
