The Jazz Houston Orchestra, led by Artistic Director Vincent Gardner, presents Grammy Award and Pulitzer Prize winning Trumpeter, Composer, Educator, and Scholar, Wynton Marsalis in concert. The program will consist of hard-swinging, grooving jazz compositions and arrangements written by Mr. Marsalis, Vincent Gardner and others from all eras of jazz. Houston’s premier Ensemble, The Jazz Houston Orchestra will be showcased alongside Mr. Marsalis in what will be his first solo visit to Houston in over 15 years.
