The pioneers of their art form, Wynton Marsalis and his big band recently opened the first performance venue ever created purely for jazz. Now these brilliant musicians travel from their hometown in New York City to Washington to perform a heartwarming tale of humanity, told through the living language of jazz. An original work composed and orchestrated by Marsalis with music commissioned by WPAS, Suite for Human Nature serves as the cornerstone of the 2004/2005 season.
