One of the most revered jazz albums of all time, A Love Supreme is John Coltrane’s spiritual testament to his art and hypnotic hymn to God. Famed trumpet virtuoso Wynton Marsalis and his Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra celebrate the 50th anniversary of this immortal recording by presenting a big-band arrangement of the four-part suite, which, in Marsalis’s words, “begins in the universal church and ends in the church of Negro spirituals.”
