Continuing our commitment to bring you the best in Latin jazz, the Orchestra will perform an all-new program of works that combine good old American swing with what Jelly Roll Morton called “the Latin tinge.”
On May 3-5 Mr. Marsalis and the orchestra, collaborating with the young Buenos Aires-based Orquesta El Arranque, will took a stab at a much less codified idea: the link between jazz and tango
