JALC’s 5th Annual Spring Gala, themed “Setting New Standards,” to be held on Monday, June 5, 2006. The evening will include a 7:30pm benefit concert at the Apollo Theater at 253 West 125th St. in New York, followed by a gala dinner at 9:00pm in an adjacent tent.
Hosted By Bernie Mac, the once-in-a-lifetime concert will feature stellar performances by The Wynton Marsalis Septet with Tracy Chapman, Joe Cocker, John Legend, John Mayer and Natalie Merchant.
