  • Suite for Human Nature to be performed in New York City

    On December 16, 17, 18 at 8:00pm, “Suite for Human Nature” will make its New York debut and kick off the Jazz at Lincoln Center holiday season at the organization’s new home, Frederick P. Rose Hall. A special matinee performance will be held on December 19 at 3:00pm.

  • Wynton Marsalis’ Unforgivable Blackness is in stores now !

    Available from Blue Note records from November 30: Unforgivable Blackness, Wynton’s original score to the upcoming Ken Burns documentary of same name.
    The film marks the second collaboration between filmmaker Burns and Wynton Marsalis (the first being 2000’s Jazz series, where Marsalis held the position of Senior Creative Consultant.)

Rose Hall with Jazz: The Big Picture on Friday, December 3, 2004 at 10:00 am and 12:15 pm at the Apollo Theater (for school groups only) and Saturday, December 4, 2004 at 11:00am and 1:00pm in Rose Theater (for families).
