Wynton reading William Butler Yeats
On December 18, at Rose Hall, PBS taped Wynton reading William Butler Yeats’ The Wild Old Wicked Man and Broken Dreams. One of them will begin airing in between regular programming on PBS in April 2008 for National Poetry Month.
Wynton also did phone interviews for the upcoming JLCO tour and a Photo shoot at Abyssinian Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Calvin Butts III

Yeats would definitely have been a Jazzman…fully improvised… Dialogue of Self and Soul. He Wishes for the Clothes of Heaven. Musical imagery. Great clip. Thanks!

Are the dates for PBS set yet? How delightful for these two artists to merge so unexpectedly. Have been a long time fan of each, but never dreamed to hear this!

No chance now.
We’ll let you know if something else will be available…

Luigi,
I would love listening Wynton reading these beautiful Yeats` poems; any chance for an audio of the taped?.
It’s a perfect selection of Yeats’work.
