Wynton Marsalis to host CBS’ Super Bowl pregame spotlight on New Orleans
CBS’ Super Bowl XLVII pregame coverage will include a one-hour New Orleans spotlight show hosted by Wynton Marsalis. “New Orleans: Let the Good Times Roll” will air at 12pm EST. game day, Feb. 3.
The special “inhabits the spirit of the city as Grammy Award-winning Marsalis celebrates one of the most unique cities in the world by introducing the rhythm and soul of the Big Easy through its music, its people, its traditions and its love of football and the New Orleans Saints as it prepares to kick off the biggest party of the year, Super Bowl XLVII,” according to the network.

Mr. Marsalis at the end of the New Orleans: Let the Good Times Roll you all did a song that everyone is wanting to know the name of that song here, on your site and on facebook. Would you mind telling everyone the name of that song? I was dancing in my livingroom listening to that song and I found myself back home not in NO but in Lake Charles where I from. Everyone really liked that song and it was a good one to go end the program on…loving my hertiage! Thank you

I unfortunately missed most of this, but what I was able to catch looked beautifully and lovingly done. I hope it will be available in the future for online viewing, or in some form for purchase.
