  1. I’m fourteen and I live in Omaha Nebraska.Last night I traveled to sioux city to see Wynton and man he tore it up! Him and Ryan were bringing out the true musicians in them (everybody else was too).Especially on the last song “Four and One”. Then Wynton finished the night with a coooool encore.

  3. Here is a very interesting review on Naples concert….really good one; very well structured, very complete, putting things in perspective, writing about some of the basic ideas and concepts in order to fully understand Wynton’s work.

  4. It’s simply not fair. When are Wynton and JLCO coming west? I’m treasurer of Cedar City Music Arts in Cedar City, UT, the oldest music arts group in the state of Utah. I keep holding out hope that Wynton et al will come our way. We’re 2 hours north of Las Vegas and there is no audience anywhere more appreciative than here. In the spirit of Obama let’s let the little guy (town) have the same shot at great music as the big guys and the east coast. We’re into jazz & classical. Your fans from afar – bsh

  5. Kenan Auditorium was alive with excitement, as jazz legend Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra kicked off their tour. My front row balcony seats afforded a fine view of some great musicians doing what they do best…making music. The guys were as loose as the music was tight. That’s the thing about jazz…there really aren’t any wrong notes. I know of no finer (musical) example of a whole being the sum of its parts, than jazz music.

After waiting more than three months for this performance, all I can say is…I want another ten hours of music!!

  6. Wynton and the JLCO, please come back to Texas soon. We miss you. For now, I’ll be watching the TV on January 19.
