The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra Septet with Wynton Marsalis embarks on a 2020 Fall tour to perform “The Sound of Democracy,” a unique repertoire focused on freedom and democracy.
Performing as a septet with Wynton Marsalis, musicians from the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra will play a newly composed work by Marsalis, selections that may include works and arrangements by members of the Septet, a movement from Marsalis’ “Integrity Suite,” and John Coltrane’s “A Love Supreme.”
