Free Family Concert: The Jazz At Lincoln Center Orchestra With Wynton Marsalis As Part Of Summerstage Kids Presents: Queens Family Day

On the heels of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis’ 2014 European Tour, the critically-acclaimed big band returns home to perform a free concert on July 20, 4pm-7pm as part of SummerStage Kids’: Queens Family Day. This program, part of SummerStage Kids presented by Disney, takes place at Queensbridge Park, located at 41 Rd., 40 Ave. between The East River, Vernon Blvd., and 21 Street in Queens, New York.

This special performance marks the third free family event the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra has performed throughout the New York City boroughs since June.

For this festival-style free event, the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis will be joined by choreographer and curator Rashida Bumbray and GRAMMY® nominated Michael Philip Mossman & Copland Jazz to introduce young audiences to the Louis Armstrong songbook and the world of jazz music.

SummerStage Kids presented by Disney presents Queens Family Day, is a day dedicated to engaging young audiences and their families through thrilling performances.
