National Concert Hall – Taipei, Taiwan
The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra launched the first of three concerts at the National Concert Hall in Taipei with our ‘Hot Jazz and Swing’ program. Earlier in the day, we connected with journalists and fans at a Q&A featuring myself and our trombonist, Vincent Gardner, sharing our love for jazz and insights into the music. To top off the evening, each member of the band was gifted beautiful flowers—a wonderful gesture from our hosts here in Taipei.
