A collaboration by three visionaries, concept and choreography by Garth Fagan, music composed and arranged by Wynton Marsalis, and set design by sculptor Martin Puryear, Griot New York explores contemporary urban life, human anguish and exaltation, and humankind’s triumph over adversity.
