Rehearsals today went very well, and we’re ready to perform tomorrow for an enthusiastic audience at JAZZ IN MARCIAC. Following is the proposed set-list for tomorrow’s concert: Minor Swing, Oriental Shuffle, Sweet Georgia Brown, Honeysuckle Rose, Solitude, Nuages, Limehouse Blues, Tears, Echoes of France, Fleur D’Ennui, Les Yeux Noirs (Dark Eyes).
During a break Mark O’Connor also showed the different styles of Afro-American and Irish fiddle playing in the development of the American folk idiom.
