Last night we played our gig for a very welcoming crowd at the Emirates Palace for the Abu Dhabi Festival. The set list included: Call to Prayer, The New Orleans Function, Pedro’s Getaway, The Majesty of the Blues, Free to Be, Play the Blues and Go, and Pumpkin’s Lullaby-by the great Wessell Anderson. I also loved meeting all of the young, enthusiastic musicians that stayed after the concert with their horns.
