  • Wynton’s songbook is now available in France

    A new songbook with Wynton’s original compositions is now available in France. The book is entitled: “Wynton Marsalis’ Selection” and features eighteen pieces selected by Wynton himself. The pieces are full score: Trumpet, Saxophone and for the most part Piano, Bass, Drums. The book is available in France from Planet Partitions.   • Wynton’s new book translated in italian and other languages

    The Italian translation of Wynton’s latest book (Moving to Higher Ground: How Jazz Can Change Your Life or “Come il Jazz puo cambiarti la vita”) is now available. The book published by Feltrinelli, became available in the best Italian bookstores Janaury 29. Other translations will be available later this year, including the Spanish edition from Ediciones Paidos Iberica, the publication date is November 09. Also, the German rights were sold to Siedler Verlag and the Brazilian rights sold to Nova Fronteira. We will inform you if and when other translations will be available.   Keep reading »

  • Wynton’s book announced as nominee for the 40th NAACP Image Awards

    Wynton’s latest book: “Moving To Higher Ground“, was announced as a nominee for the 40th NAACP Image Awards in the category of Outstanding Literary Work-Non-Fiction. The NAACP Image Awards is the nation’s premier event celebrating the outstanding achievements and performances of people of color in the arts (motion picture, television, recording, and literature), as well as those individuals or groups who promote social justice through their creative endeavors.
