Wynton’s playing - 20 years of jazz music
In these two video clips you’ll be able to see Wynton playing in 1980 (circa…) with Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers, and a video where he plays Cherokee at Royal Albert Hall with the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra. (2000)
You can also enjoy these old high-res photos (Wynton with Miles Davis, and many others…)

Wynton is simply an enigma of our time. He has affected me in so many ways even as i continue in my quest to play sweet trumpet. I admire him a lot..

You are one of my greatest idols, not only in music as such, but as a guide. You always wear nice clothes, and i think that is very good. The music is cool and I like when you play with your septet. It is strong of you to keep bringing the music to the world and not quiting as many others do when a personal crise come to them.
Good luck with everything and may God be with you

The beauty of Wynton’s music is it never gets old. Everytime I listen to his music, I hear something new, making it that much more sweeter. I thank you Wynton for sharing your music and inspiring us musicians and artists to want to create…
