  1. Mr. Wynton,

Years ago…I wondered if you ever considered doing a concert with Herb Alpert? Anybody follow up on that?

I know…You play in different arenas, styles etc….But on the upside…You both play trumpet and both play music…

And lastly! You both have tried to make a difference with the kids…

    Wishing you the very best,

  3. Dear Mr. Wynton,
I have to say you are the most amazing trumpet player I have ever seen. When i shook your hand it was the happiest day of my life. You have inspired me to keep playing and really persue my dream. I have been playing for about 5 years now and have progressed extremely just watching everything great musicians as your self have done but give it my own feeling and jazzy style. I wouldn’t say I have a speach problem but I get excited and speak faster and studder a little bit, but ive heard and notice that when I play my horn I play with the right style, timber feeling, and dont mess up. I have to say music is my life. Its what ive grown up with all I know and its just me. I want to tell you Mr. Wynton that you have inspired me to keep going and I appreciate that greatly. Once again thank you Mr. Wynton.

    With great gratitude,

    Jonathan Richardson
