On this video an awesome performance of an Ornette Coleman tune by Wynton with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra.

Hello, this is a perfect unbelievable sound! We do a Ornette Coleman concert with our high professional big band next week in Rotterdam/the Netherlands arrangements by Johan Plomp /Holland We enjoy this music!

Posted by gloria on 2007-01-09 15:08:23 "Shed" comes from the old days when one would be locked in the woodshed (either by your parents or yourself) to practice, and practice, and practice, and... I think you get the idea. Today it is just a generic term for "practice your buns off"! I'm thinkin' this is a concept Wynton (as well as the rest of the band) is acutely aware of.
