Wynton’s solos transcriptions to be available for purchase
Due to overwhelming requests, we are pleased to announce that we will be making some of Wynton’s most famous trumpet solos available for purchase.
The solos will be available in B Flat and in concert pitch. They will cost $5 only and will be in PDF format. Following your purchase you will be able to download the music to your computer and print right in your home.
Starting from the end of May, the first solos that will be available in our Sheet Music section are: Black Codes, Delfeayo’s Dilemma, Later, Big Fat Hen and Free to Be.

This is great to have the solo’s of Wynton’s available. For a singer this will be a master class study for me! Thanks wynton you a great!!!!! BUT NO MATTER HOW MUCH PEOPLE TRY TO PLAY YOUR SOLOS THERE IS ONLY ONE WYNTON MARSALIS WHO DELIVERS THE SOUL AND TECHNIQUE AND IT YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is great news. I’m sure the pros prefer to transcribe solos on their own, but as an amateur trumpet player with a busy “day job,” I will greatly appreciate this.
As for transcribing the solo on “Four in One,” good luck to whoever is brave enough to attempt it!
