Jazz At Lincoln Center announces open auditions for drummer for the JLCO with Wynton Marsalis
Jazz at Lincoln Center today announced open auditions for the drummer in the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis.
Jazz at Lincoln Center Managing and Artistic Director Wynton Marsalis has elected to hold auditions for the open position. Applications will be accepted beginning today through August 31, 2018.
Ali Jackson was the drummer of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra from 2005 through 2017. He is the third drummer to hold the seat since the Orchestra’s founding in 1991.
The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra is a world-renowned ensemble comprised of 15 members and is led by Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Managing and Artistic Director Wynton Marsalis.
