    On January 8, 2001, Wynton was invited at the Charlie Rose Show for a discussion about the documentary “Jazz”, with filmmaker Ken Burns. Wynton served as a senior creative consultant for the film. The film, divided into a series of 10 episodes, tells the story of jazz music in America through individual musicians including Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, and Thelonious Monk.
