    Jazz at Lincoln Center announces Wynton Marsalis and Eric Clapton will perform together in Wynton Marsalis and Eric Clapton Play the Blues in Frederick P. Rose Hall, home of Jazz at Lincoln Center. The special concert events have been added to the season schedule as the organization’s 2011 Annual Gala on April 7 and as ticketed concerts open to the public on April 8 and 9.     On Janury 20-22, 2010, multi-award winning jazz great Chick Corea performs for the first time with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis. Corea’s music and bands have covered all the stylistic grounds from bebop, soul jazz and fusion, to Latin jazz and the avant-garde.     “Louis”, a silent film directed by Dan Pritzker and starring Jackie Earle Haley, Shanti Lowry and Anthony Coleman, will premiere in US cities in late August with live musical accompaniment by Wynton Marsalis, renowned pianist Cecile Licad and a 10-piece all-star jazz ensemble, including Sherman Irby, Victor Goines, Marcus Printup, Ted Nash, Kurt Bacher, Vincent Gardner, Wycliffe Gordon, Dan Nimmer, Carlos Henriquez, Ali Jackson, and conductor Andy Farber.
