    The Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis honors this largely underappreciated pianist, composer and arranger who was also a mentor of Thelonious Monk and Bud Powell. The concert features guest vocalists Andy Bey and Carline Ray, pianist Mulgrew Miller, and many compelling masterworks that Ms. Williams wrote for large ensemble.
