I’m a swing dancer—and was lucky enough to be a part of Mr. Marsalis Swingin with Duke on PBS… Wow! 

I know he is here in Chicago from Feb 12-14—does anyone know the jazz clubs he may frequent after his gigs—I would love to catch him as I won’t be able to go to the shows hes doing here—any insights?

Woah! This is off topic, but you’re a swing dancer!? Like jitterbugging!? Man!! i’ve always wanted to do that! Do you take classes or anything?

Absolutely—Lindy hop and Jitterbug! I was lucky enough to learn in New York and got to dance to some awesome bands including a weekly trip up to Harlem to dance to the Harlem Renaissance orchestra!
