I was looking at the official Wynton Marsalis site, and I was wondering about the video clip of Jungle Blues.  Where was this performance, and is it available on video anywhere?

Wynton has very fond memories of this gig.  It was at a huge concert in Chile in 1990.  The lineup was mainly rock artists like Sting and Sinead O’Connor, and then Wynton and his band.  They ended up getting the most response from the crowd of thousands!
Unfortunately this footage isn’t publicly available.

     

Too bad!  It looks awesome!
