STC-1 vs STC-2

Is there any difference in playing a STC-2 rather than a STC-1 is there only certain mouthpeices that are STC-2.

STC-2 mouthpieces are designed for the heavier monette trumpet models.

I know that but is it easier to play STC-2 than STC-1

I tried a STC-2 B2 on my trumpet(Bach Strad) and it did feel a little restrictive in the upper register compared to a STC-1 B2.

Usually players of the heavier horners B937 thru B997 may decide to make their “lead or shallow cup” mouthpiece a STC2…. I know that Ryan Kisor uses an STC2 on his new B994. When I owned a B993, I had an STC2 for those times I played lead.
