Wynton Marsalis Discussion Forum

Does anybody (juanmustard) else notice Wynton aometimes plays 1-2 fingered notes with his 1st and 3rd finger, I got a picture from a watch ad that has him playing his 993 and he’s playing like this.  Is it some kind of technique or just hapenstance? I know Wynton holds his horn all kinds of different ways, hope Dave Monette doesn’t see that-j/k-thanks.
