I have lost touch with my friend Ellis. Can anyone help? I am from Baltimore and I was wondering how he was doing.

Ellis Marsalis. He is younger than Wynton but older than Delfeayo.

     

Ellis Marsalis is Wynton’s father and not his brother…isn’t it ?

     

No, if you watch The Marsalis Family: A Jazz Celebration and watch the interviews it mentions him his name is Ellis the III he works with computers, yeah he’s younger than Wynton and older than Delfeayo. =)

No, but I will try. I know when Ellis used to work in NY he would stay at Wynton’s house.

     

did you find your friend?  He’s in Baltimore.  If you check out the Urbanite Magazine (Baltimore)  they list him as an “up and comer” in the March issue.
