Wynton Marsalis Discussion Forum

So I’m doing a transcription of Tom cat blues,the way wynton preferred in France for an audition but one thing is I want to develop a tone similar to wynton’s.
Any ways I was asking if any of you guys have some tips besides equimpent related things
