I have a sister who’s getting married in Oct, and has put me in charge of making her playlist for the wedding. I think of myself as having pretty eclectic tastes, but in this case, i am pretty oblivious to all the different jazz that’s out there. She’s looking to get popular jazz from the 30s, 40s and 50s. I already compiled a list of artists off of Pandora, amazon, and other sites but would love to get some feedback on which songs from these artists are absolutely the best, or most appropriate for weddings. It seems kind of ridiculous that i would just go thru every song of every artist to figure this out…and listening to previews off of amazon saves time, but never gives me an idea of what the entire song sounds like! But a previous listener, someone who knows the song well…well that’s why I’m here. Hopefully you guys can help me out.
