The new video-clip is available directly from our podcast on iTunes Music Store (open directly in iTunes). We also did some changes on the files-list of our podcast. If you are using iTunes and want to be sure to have the latest list of files available, collapse the podcast by clicking the triangle, and then expand it while holding the shift key (on Windows) or option key (on Mac). This will cause iTunes to totally update the podcast.

This DVD capture a dunamic 2 hour performance of Congo Square at the 2007 Montreal Jazz Festival, featuring Wynton, the JLCO and Yacub Addy with Odadaa!
On May 28, 2008, at 7:30 PM, Jazz at Lincoln Center’s annual Spring Gala concert, themed “Spring Swing,” features the soulful vocals of jazz chanteuse Patti Austin, with special guest Wynton Marsalis, performing selections from her 2008 GRAMMY - award winning album Avant Gershwin. A festive dinner (9:30 PM) will be held throughout Frederick P. Rose Hall venues following the concert. Proceeds from the evening will benefit Jazz at Lincoln Center’. Due to overwhelming requests, we are pleased to announce that we will be making some of Wynton’s most famous trumpet solos available for purchase.
The solos will be available in B Flat and in concert pitch. They will cost $5 only and will be in PDF format. Following your purchase you will be able to download the music to your computer and print right in your home.
Starting from the end of May, the first solos that will be available in our Sheet Music section are: Black Codes, Delfeayo’s Dilemma, Later, Big Fat Hen and Free to Be.
On August 8 and 13, 2008, Wynton will play at Marciac Jazz Festival with his Septet and Quintet.
The first concert will be performed at the Chapiteau by his Septet: Wynton Marsalis, Marcus Roberts (to be confirmed), Reginald Veal, Herlin Riley, Wess Anderson, Wycliffe Gordon and Victor Goines.
The second performance will take place on August 13 and will feature the Quintet: Wynton Marsalis, Dan Nimmer, Carlos Henriquez, Walter Blanding, Ali Jackson, with Richard Galliano. Wynton will also give two Master Classes on August 10 and 15.
